I’ve spent some time during the past few days refamiliarizing myself with various platforms and old blogs I’ve kept over the past 15 years.
(Some of them were about writing. Others were about unrelated topics. They’re not relevant now.)
After reupping with a couple of services and canceling others, I’ve decided not to reinvent the wheel. Wordsmith@Work is a blog I kept about 3-5 years ago, and though I’ve deleted its earlier content, I’m retaining its title and platform.
I don’t want a lot of bells and whistles or distractions. Just a clean page on a screen where I can type my thoughts, explore my feelings, examine my options, and figure out where I’m headed.
Easier said than done.
Also? By way of a P.S., this current incarnation of the blog is likely to include some neurotic meditations on writing, life as it impacts my writing, and some otherwise messy material.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
